As an Academic Fellow at BITS Design School, I supported the organisation and facilitation of academic workshops, conferences, and public events. My role involved coordinating with speakers, assisting with event planning and logistics, and contributing to the visual and communication materials for these initiatives. Through this work, I helped create spaces for dialogue and learning between students, educators, and practitioners within the design community.
Design Colloquium
As part of the Design Colloquium series at BITS Design School, I was part of the organising team and also served as a panelist for a discussion on Transformation Design. The colloquium series brings together designers, educators, and practitioners to create open conversations around emerging design practices, critical questions in design education, and the role of design in addressing complex real-world challenges. These sessions are intended to foster dialogue between academia and practice while exposing students to diverse perspectives within the design ecosystem.
As a panelist, I contributed to conversations around design practice, systems thinking, and the role of design in enabling social and environmental change. The discussion involved sharing experiences from practice, responding to audience questions, and engaging in dialogue with fellow panelists on how design can support meaningful transformation.
Alongside participating in the panel, I also developed the visual communication for the event. This included designing the event’s visual language and communication materials used for promotion and on-site engagement, helping create a cohesive identity for the colloquium and framing the conversation around transformation design.

Care Value Place - Conference
I contributed to the Care | Value | Place 2025 conference hosted by BITS Design School, an interdisciplinary gathering that brought together designers, researchers, educators, and practitioners to explore how design engages with questions of care, value, and place in shaping social and ecological futures.
As part of the organising team, I supported the planning and coordination of the conference and worked closely with invited speakers. This included assisting with session logistics, coordinating communication, and ensuring smooth facilitation of talks and discussions during the event.
Alongside organisational responsibilities, I also worked on the visual communication for the conference. I contributed to developing the graphic language and communication materials used for promotion and event visibility. The visual system was designed to reflect the conference’s themes of community, place-based thinking, and collaborative dialogue, while remaining adaptable across digital and event formats.

Growing Minds: Teacher Training Workshop
Designed and facilitated a teacher training workshop introducing play-based approaches to teaching sustainability and ecosystems. The session used an ecosystem-building game and visual prompts to demonstrate how complex environmental concepts can be explored through collaborative and experiential learning in classrooms.
The game was analysed as a play-based learning tool and adapted for different levels such as primary and secondary schools, allowing educators to scale the depth of discussion and concepts based on student age groups.
The workshop also introduced teachers to frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Inner Development Goals (IDGs), Bloom’s Taxonomy, and the Whole School Approach to sustainability. These frameworks were used to evaluate and refine the game so it could support sustainability education in a structured yet engaging way.
